It looks like he is doing underwater welding, is that right? My grandson Caleb is a welder but on land. I am always so glad to hear about Josh and this new adventure is awesome! ❤️
Wow! Sarah, isn't that amazing? Josh, as Kim has said has certainly proved he is one amazing young man. I've done SCUBA diving on the Great Barrier Reef up near Cairns, in far North Queensland and it's the best feeling.
My Father was a diver for the Refinery at Christies Beach back in South Australia, whilst I was growing up. He loved it.
I've been watching an Italian Series called "Doc - nella tue mani" (Doc in your hands) and one of the young actors has an artificial limb, of course it's only make believe, but it just goes to show you that anything is possible and Josh has certainly shown that. Love Chris
All the staff knew that Josh had only 1 leg. On his first day of the course they had to strip off and dive into freezing waters (no wetsuits) and I am told it was hilarious watching the students faces, as Josh took off his leg
Oh my! Josh never slows down. He is living his dream, isn't he. He looks so relaxed. And what an experience for you to be able to see where he has been living and learning. He will have a very bright future after he graduates.
Oh, Sarah....it is so wonderful to see Josh thriving...he has come through some very thunderous storms and has showed his strength throughout... Let him know his "Cute Family" is so proud of him!
Josh is an amazing young man. Nothing will stop him. I am glad you were able to visit and have a special look at the diving school.
This is so cool! I always wanted to learn how to scuba dive! I bet the tour of the school was amazing! And, I am certain your visit with Josh was the best!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Hugs to you and yours, Laura
This is diving that will hopefully get him a job on oil rigs.
Last Friday he did his deepest dive yet which was 50 meters. After diving deep dives he has to go into a compression chamber.
Yikes!! I thought the pictures did look like he was training! Stay safe, Josh!!
All I can say is thank goodness he is connected by a diving tube giving him air.
