Wow and more Wow....I love these. That bed skirt is awesome also. I have no idea why these writer's and whoever think we need all that language and of course the love stories showing explicit stuff. I like to read a good romance murder or intrique book but why must they think people who are tough talk bad all the time. A story can be told without using the "F" word contantly. But, you know what I've seen.....all these people on documentaries, car accidents or whatever you watch you hear them saying that word over and over like it is common everyday language. I'll keep spreading the Word of God thru my shirts if I have to. I see enough 'Karen's' and some 'Kyles' [sorry if you have that name and not one of these] to last a lifetime. I think women are more foul mouthed than men these days. Also with all the stuff they stick in and on their bodies.
Beautiful. I love everything about it and the way you quilted it. Sorry that it caused you to have a hurt arm.
I think it was weak muscle in the arm I injured but I’m ok today. I just had no more strength left to keep quilting. Thank you
Beautiful work. Hugs
Thank you Shirley, this was a job because I quilted with a ruler to try to stay straight. Before I was through I was having difficulty holding the ruler from slipping and trying to move the quilt at the same time. My strength was gone but I persevered and my ‘offs’ don’t show overall. I’m just glad this one is done. I love the look but for whatever reason, I didn’t really enjoy making it.
Just love it - beautiful work!!! Bunches of hugs to you!!!
Another beautiful quilt. As always you never disappoint. I agree, I like good shows, but immoral language and behavior turn me off. Keep on quilting. I never tire of seeing your creations.
Thanks Kar, I usually like making them but this got monotonous, so many little blocks.
Gorgeous Toogie, I love this one. I did one like this years ago and it's still a favourite.
I can't believe you are working so hard still in the heat you guys are having in the USA.
We are beginning Spring tomorrow and the air is full of fragrance.
Love Chris
I just had to shell out $6700 for new AC/ heat unit so I’m ok to piece but quilting gets hot even with AC because you are constantly pulling it back and forth a lot in your lap.
I love the spring especially after a cold wet winter. Enjoy the smells.
Very vintage, with that backing and with the random brown 9-piece squares. You've got the touch, Toogie! Hope you are holding up in the heat and humidity.
I’m staying inside in AC-lol I really have no brown in the quilt. It it made with various shades of gray, reds and blacks. I think computer maybe makes it look off. I’ll try to take a close up later of the darker odd blocks. Thanks for looking!
