What an incredible vacation!! Happy you are safely home - now, you must relax and rest from your vacation!!! Bunches of hugs, Laura
Hi Laura, well that's a great idea about relaxing at home, I wish I could. There's washing to be done, things to be done for the neighbours who looked after our home, dinner with Amy, Steve and the girls tonight. I need to buy some wrapping paper for the neighbour across the road who had a baby boy whilst we were away. I also need to get something for the neighbour who looked after Mum's mail whilst we were away.
I should be alright by Tuesday ha ha ha! Love Chris
Hi Caroline, ha ha ha! tomorrow! I've having my nails done today and I need to organise a hair cut.
Jewls sent me an email with suggestions re getting Mum (and Miss Lily her dog) back home next Monday 31st October,.
I need to speak with my better half and see if we can organise me to fly to Adelaide and bring Mum back home (dog can go in a crate on the plane) Love Chris
Love the finale! I really like # 5 picture of scroll worked lights. Very fitting for place. Glad y’all made it home safe❤️
Hi Toogie, they were amazing every half hour they would form a moving tribute back and forth and they looked like a snake moving. That whole Glass Rotunda with the coloured trees had a moving wall with animals of the forest and noises of their calls. I took a video of it as we walked around the spiral and it took over 3 minutes, it was incredible. Love Chris
Thank you for taking us with you on your amazing trip! The pictures were awesome. I am glad you had safe travels. Hugs, Suzanna
Hi Suzanna, it was wonderful to share with my gals here. I love the little image too., Can't wait to get back into a normal routine. I actually lost some weight, not much only about a kilogram (a couple of pounds). Trev didn't and reckons he gained more than I lost, but he does like to have a beer and eats more than I do! ha ha ha!!! Love Chris
Thank you for sharing all your pictures of your fabulous trip with us IT is always nice to be back HOME. though. your pictures were amazing. Glad you had a wonderful time. HUGS
Hi Suzanne, you are welcome. I only showed a few I took hundreds of them and wish I could have shown more. We had a marvellous time. Amazing train journeys with the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Love Chris
Welcome home!! What an incredible journey. You even managed the journey back to Australia to have beautiful experiences. I hope the jet lag isn't too bad and you settle back into your routine with no problems. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you, I know I enjoyed every picture and the stories.
Hi Karen, Trev seems to be quite jet lagged. I was great as soon as I got on the plane at midnight, I put on my earphones and listened to meditative music and slept for about 5 hours. Then on the train coming home to Newcastle which is a 2 and a half hour journey I slept for another hour. So I was quite ok when we walked in our front door. Bless our son Ben, he and the 3 boys had been over earlier in the day and opened up the doors and windows so that it was fresh. He had also mowed the lawns (actually Cooper the eldest boy did that for us) He will be 13 next month. It's good to be home though!! Love Chris
What a great end to your super holiday. As ever super pictures and thanks for sharing. Also love the orchid pic, I love orchids
Hi Caroline, it is a fabulous place to visit. It is so clean, you could eat off the floors and highways. There are orchids everywhere and massive Stag and Elk horns attached to the magnificent trees all over the island. Love Chris
