Update somewhat on my daughter, Robin. She had 4 lymph nodes removed and a lumpectomy. 2 nodes had cancer cells and breast tissue still showing cells. She is going tomorrow to discuss all this and hope they get her on the surgical schedule ASAP for her mastectomy. She is 53 y/o. She doesn't mention prayers or the Lord anymore although most of her life was in the church. Now all they think is that Organic food and lots of exercise is keeping them healthy---while that is all great and good I think our higher power is to be called upon and keep HIM continually in our lives. I ask all the prayer warriors on this site to please pray as a whole and for her healing. She is a very sweet woman. More updates to come when we know anything else.

This mama's heart is breaking for you. Watching our children suffer and be sick is so hard. It was much easier when we could kiss the boo-boo and make it better. You and Robin are embedded in my prayers as this journey begins. I'm glad that you have a strong faith to carry you. God is good and He will be with you through this. Maybe He will draw her near once again.

This certainly wasn't the news we wanted to hear. I agree with you that prayer is even more important than eating right. And you know we will be keeping Robin and you as well as the medical team in prayer. Please keep updating us. And don't hesitate to vent any time you need a shoulder, an ear or a hug. We are with you every step of this journey.

Thanks for the update, Patti...It's a long road when you get a cancer diagnosis...any cancer... I hope that Robin will weigh her options for a long term health recovery... Know that we are all here for you, sending love, light and prayers to you and your family.

Hi Patti, prayers will continue for you all. I know the Doctors are doing their best to help Robin and you can rely on us here to keep her uplifted to our Lord.
