Please Help. I have joined the membership here and a lot of my downloads are to big for my Brother PE-800. I have the extra large hoop already. I need to split the pattern. Can anyone help me with this. I need a very easy and cheaper way to do this. I am a senior on a very limited income. Thank you ahead of time.

This is just an idea. When I bought my first machine it only had a 4x4 hoop. I also bought the frame where one could split a design. I thought none of the designs would fit on my 4x4 till I realized, that in the program that Brother included, I had not changed the size of the hoop. Truly most of the designs here should fit on your 5x7 hoop. What design do you want to split?

I ordered the 7x12 hoop for Brother PE800. I don’t know how to put the image in here but it’s the new cat that’s sitting and it has flowers in the body of it. It’s 7.09 tall.

It is a cat from 2021. I noticed one user reduced the size and it worked for her. Splitting a design isn't easy. Your embroidery machine might be able to reduce the design to fit in your 5X7 hoop.

Thank You. I will try that

I have done lots of digitizing and it would be very hard to do this, even for me. If you have that hoop, you should be able to stitch any and all designs on Cute Embroidery. Other sites have designs that are already split. Have fun! Jan

What software do you use? I have some that I would love to do but they will have to be split. Thank You

I have brought this back up to the top for it to be seen. You are asking a question of something that I have never done and with the softwear that I do use - PE design I would not wish to even experiment with. Hopefully someone will see your question and you will get the reply you are after

I have the Brother PE750D. I can embroidery 5x7 size designs. I don't know which designs are giving you a problem, but I am assuming your embroidery field is 5x7 too. I haven't seen ALL the designs Cute has to offer, but I haven't seen any designs any larger than this.

Mine will do a 7x12 hoop but you have to split the design into sections. It uses a PES format.

I just checked the specs on your machine. You have a 5x7 hoop which most designs here should accommodate. Honestly most of my embroidery I do on that size. Other then that you would need a program to split a design.

I do not know how to do that. My suggestion would be to check out YouTube if you do not get any results here good luck.

I love your designs. They are to big for my PE800 so the ones I chose I can’t use without splitting them. Please help

Wow, I don't think I can remember many designs here on Cute that are larger than 5x7 and would need to be split...perhaps you are referring to designs from another designer or web page???

Adding my own 2 cents worth. I am no expert but some hoops say 5 x 7 and can stitch a design slightly larger than the hoop says, like Janome brand says 5 x 7 and can stitch a 5.5 x 7.9 design. If your machine has a Resize button use it to downsize--it usually will by 10%. If it came with a software pkg., bring up the design in that and follow your manual for splitting, merging designs etc. On my very old Husqvarna #1+ I had a hoop for splitting larger designs and when I did it assigned it sections giving them a name like P1, P2, P3 for the slider I had to do on the hoop to go to each section to continue stitching. To add the design to the Customizing to view I had to click on the 'File' tab and click on the 'Merge' then there was a tab that would say P1 and it would add in the correct section of the hoop, then go to P2 and do the same and so forth. I have a friend that uses Brother machines, well, only at club for embroidery because she always needs help. I've never helped her with anything split though but she usually has no trouble with her 5 x 7 hoop. Since you can use a hoop that is larger it should come with instructions for splitting your designs, but, I agree with the other comments, most designs on this site are not large designs so try the resizing button on your machine. I think all usually have one. Then follow any instructions that came with your multi-sectional hoop.
