Oh my goodness. I had not realized how much I missed being on this site and have lost track of everyone and their "doings", their caring and encouragement. Life has been really trying dealing with my Mom who had a stroke and John's Mom with end stage Alzheimers. We were trying to care for John's Mom at home but even with 12 hour nursing care, it became to much for John's dad. When she could no longer walk or feed herself we ended having to place her in a nursing home and enrolled her in hospice. Last week her struggle ended and she gained her life triumphant. While we miss her, she is no longer suffering. My mom is gaining strength and coordination back and is doing better. It feels almost strange having some time to get into my sewing room. Please bare with me as I get reaclimated. Hugs.

Nice to have you back. Dealing with aging parents, and sick loved ones is very trying. We all have to do just one day at a time.

That was a lot you had to deal with. Glad you are able to join us again and have some "you time"

Welcome back! I'm so sorry it has been such a difficult time for you with both of your moms. But I know they very much appreciate your sacrifice for their care. I hope you manage to get back into stitching and please do show off your completed projects.
