Stunning card! You are an expert on the software for sure!
Was this a design that was specially made for the card? Did you stitch the quilted look too, or is that a printed card? Looks great. I've tried embroidery with greeting cards before, and did not have very appealing results. The mylar is a great touch!!
Thanks...I stitched the quilting lines and decorative border and lettering...they were not a part of the original design.
I'm only able to see the thumbnail of this card but it is so pretty. I have never tried a Mylar anything. I have some discarded Mylar balloons I was going to experiment with but I don't think it would work like the pretty iridescent sheets.
Thanks, Patti....photos are an ongoing problem, as you well know... you should try your mylar balloons as they would give a good but different effect....
Love it. Using the Mylar under the tree design really makes is sparkle
Very pretty and sparkly! I know this card will be treasured for years to come.
I cannot see it at all .Can you email the picture to me please?
Yes, you should be able to see it tomorrow...I can't see it here either...but that's okay, tomorrow is another day!
That is a beautiful card. Have wanted to try doing some but haven't tried. Everyone is going to want to frame theirs!
Oh my! What a fabulous card! Using that mylar was a fantastic technique as it really did increase the sparkle. I can't quilt figure out what you used for the frame. Beads? I'm sure whoever receives a card from you will treasure it and put it on display for others to enjoy as well.
Thank you Penny.... The frame is a motif stitch from my software...but you could use a decorative stitch from your embroidery/sewing machine too!
