I am about to try embroidering on loo rolls, an area of machine embroidery never tried. Any one with tips to help please? Thanks

I haven't tried this either, but I really like sewmum's idea of using felt or fabric, so it is reusable. I wonder if elastic or velcro is better to secure the felt or fabric.

I agree with Sewmum. I have embroidered on toilet paper, but in storage it got a little ragged looking down the road. I would do a felt or other fabric cover instead. Hugs. Nan

Embroider on white felt instead of the toilet paper itself and wrap it around the loo roll.
I know a few people whose guests have used and flushed the embroidered paper because they didn't know! Materials and time are to valuable to be thrown out. Beauty is that the felt can be reused over and over again and can be changed to suit the season or decor!

Dense paper, not dense design. (Haven't tried it, just read this.)

Two more thoughts: slow down your speed and clean out under your needle often, as you will get a lot of paper dust.
