Hello all you prayer warriors. I need some prayers for a cat I got into our rescue. He was starving and had a huge abscess on his head. He had surgery on his head right away and had a wick put in that we treated for two weeks.
The wick came out and he was healing fine. . All of a sudden he had a head full of pus again The vet did another surgery to cut open the wound and clean it all out. He sent a sample to the lab to find out what kind of bacteria it was. After a week in the vets care the cat came home yesterday.
We had to bring him back the stitches were leaking pus again. Doc did another surgery on him opening the wound more and cleaning it out.
Doc put him on strong antibiotics and has to take him off the antibiotics because it is affecting his kidneys.
Doc thinks it may be staff or Mercer. Toey has not given up He is eating and purring away. This has the doc stumped.
I need prayers for his recovery. I am worried about him
I would hate to have to put him down after all he has been through.

Tons of prayers for Toey! After all he has gone through, he is a fighter! Thank you for helping so many furbabies that cannot help themselves! He is going to make it and God rest his soul for being so sweet still purring after all he has gone through to save his life! Thank God for angels like you!

109774I saw this yesterday, but I couldn't comment, I was just so overwhelmed with what that poor kitty is going through. We had something similar happen to our oldest cat Fred, but he seems to be doing well for a senior now, though he lost quite a few teeth during his ordeal. Prayers Toey and you and for guidance for the vet. May you all have a good outcome soon.
