Awww, what a great story. And I needed a good laugh this morning. So please tell Gus thank you for being a great storyteller. I hope the tooth fairy gave some extra cash after all that and now each of your phones are charged.
Tonight was their Christmas piano recital. We just got home but after the recital Gus informed us he has another loose tooth!
Poor Gus. All that anxiety. I was always amazed how the fighting. struggling and tears turns into an immediate smile and laughter, once they realize the tooth is out. Did the tooth fairy pay up?
Even me and the family baby tooth dentist (Papa) paid! -Lol
He was laughing about how he acted once it was out. Very excited too that it came out so easily. You can see in the picture he had really worked trying to get it out himself. Like I said we don’t know ‘who’ pulled it he was thrashing about so much it just came out.-lol
The "baby tooth dentist" in our family was a friend who taught first grade. In two weeks Gus will be laughing about it as Papa tells the story.
He was laughing immediately saying he didn’t even feel it. He was just so scared it would hurt. It probably got sore all week for him wiggling it. Gus wanted us to video so he could show his cousin Jake. That’s why our phones were down. We had been videoing for about 40 minutes-
Gosh children. Sounds like great fun was had by all. I was laughing too by the time I had finished reading. Now do you have the tooth fairy? if so does she leave money for the tooth?
Oh yes , he was looking forward to that bc he wants a toy. I know you like my ‘stories’ so I thought you’d like this one. It was hilarious in the end but not when he was upset. We had tried talking him through so he could pull it on his own but it was getting late and t hey had a busy day today. They needed to get it out and go home.
He was laughing when it was over and telling his mom he really did love her. Also apologizing for awful outbursts. He’s a real sweetie just scared.
