Happy New Year to All of the Cuties. May 2023 be a great year for all of us.

This has been a very upsetting year for me, but I did come back to Cute to try to help keep my sanity.

My sister died in February, a 44-year-old niece in June. In August we found out that another niece had lung cancer that had gone into her brain, and she went thru surgery for the brain tumor and is now in Chemo.

In August we found that my husband had level 3 Intermediate prostate cancer, and I have been battling with acceptance. He was to start radiation in October, after 2 surgical procedures. He developed a serious allergy to the antibiotic that he was put on, and it delayed his radiation therapy for 2 weeks. He started his first radiation on November 7th and is now on his 35th treatment. Hopefully he will complete this treatment by the middle of January. He is also taking a chemo-type shot and that is to be administered on January 19th. We will soon celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary in February and hopefully be able to get back to our normal lives.

I am asking prayers for him and wishing him a positive outcome. This has not been easy on him, and he dropped 15 pounds in 2 weeks from what they call the bad dose.

But we did get to end our year on a positive note. We got to celebrate Christmas at our home with 8 little greats and 4 foster-greats, both daughters, 3 of our grandchildren with their spouses.
