Love the Nativity set, it looks great. The ladies will appreciate the original floral designs.
Hugs, Lidia
They all look great. The nativity will be appreciated by all who view it. That is some work! The towels will be appreciated as well. Sorry you couldn’t have your luncheon. I know how your group looks forward to it all year, but I also know as great friends they understood. ♥️Toogie
Hi Toogie, yes, you are right they all knew how stressed I was with Mum and it just didn't seem like a good thing to do without Mum there. I don't know how this Christmas luncheon will go, but at least I've started on a few things. Love Chris
Chris, these are stunning! The towels are beautiful too. Glad to hear Mum is doing well and hopefully she will enjoy eating once the brace is removed. So much going on here for several months. God bless you and happy new year! Love, hugs and flowers, Suzanna.
Hi Suzanna, thanks for your lovely email. Best wishes go to you too. I've now done 8 towels and they all look great. Love Chris
Thank you for sharing the finished blocks. Love your color choices. The towels are so pretty.
Well as delayed doing emb for 22 Christmas, I will be doing some earlier this year also. Thank you for your example for me.
Thanks Worthy, I didn't have all my threads with me, so had to use what I could. I love to get things done in the holidays as I know that this year is going to be tough! Love Chris
Beautiful work, Chris. But that is totally expected from you. You always have such beautiful projects. I envy you your determination to start things early.
Hi Beth, it must be something about us Librans, don't you think? I like everything neat and tidy and ready to get started on new projects. Love Chris
Great work Chris. Seeing you already stitching for Christmas 23 makes me think that maybe I need to follow your example.
Hi Caroline, Happy New Year to you and I agree, it's never to early to start making Christmas gifts etc. Love Chris
It's good to see you stitching again. I know you are feeling much better about your mum now. I had wondered about the 2022 luncheon. You have done a beautiful job for the church and know it will be appreciated and admired by many. And I am happy to see you already starting on the gifts for the 2023 luncheon.
Hi Karen, Happy New Year and I pray that you are getting better day by day.
Thanks for your lovely comment. It's great that I can do this sewing up here as there are no interruptions! Whilst Mum was in Hospital I didn't get much done. It feels good to get working. Love Chris
Beautiful Chris! I am sewing too, won't repeat last year, embroidering at the last minute!
Glad to hear your mum is doing better and is settled in the home.
Hi Mary, yes, it's great to see Mum settling in, she still has some eating issues, but hopefully once the neck-brace comes off it might be easier for her. Jewls is visiting her every day with Lily (dog), but once we sell the house then Jewls will have to go back to Tumby Bay to her own home.
In the meantime we have an open house this Saturday, so I'm going back home early Friday morning to help her get things put in the garage. She has already cleaned out Mum's top pantry area, photograph albums etc. Trev will go over in the afternoon and mow the lawns to make it look spick and span. Love Chris
Forgot to mention - I haven’t washed the WSS out of the pink hand towel. ❤️👵🏻
