I just read your update and hallelujah prayers answered once again! Thank you for giving us such a great update....will continue praying for her!
I wanted to give an update on my daughter.... she is doing better but has a really nasty cough. I talked to her yesterday, and she did sound better, but informed me that her husband had tested positive yesterday morning. He has a whole lot of health issues, and just getting over pneumonia. He is a 100% disabled veteran, and had several appointments this week with the VA. He was supposed to call them to see what how they wanted to handle his appointments. He is several years older than my daughter, and only 6 years younger than me.... really hard for me to think of him as a son-in-law. LOL
May the good Lord be with your entire family. Hope she gets better soon
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I was texting with my daughter, and she said that she finally thought that she was going to be able to eat something She had not eaten since Monday, and was barely getting fluids in. She was able to rest with the prescriptions that were given her yesterday, but she said that she has coughed so much that her ribs and muscles in the abdomen were so sore it hurt to breathe She is concerned that her dad and I will excerpt ourselves as we are filling in taking care of the baby granddaughter that she cares for a couple days a week, plus the one day we keep her. But we will get through this.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and concerns.
Firstly, there is no such thing as asking for too many prayers. As a group many of us believe that we were given the privilege of bringing requests to the throne. It is an honor for me to know that I can speak directly to my Father.
Secondly, bless all of you! I can't thank your daughter enough for caring so deeply as to work so hard and with so much heart.
I am praying fervently that she is not effected from this strain like she was the last and there are no long term symptoms left once she is well. I know your mother's heart is deeply saddened that you can't go take care of her. Care for yourself so if you are needed in a few days, you will be well rested and able to go.
Prayers are coming her way and yours... Keep up updated on her progress. Suzanne
It is so sad. Healthcare workers are overwhelmed and are working such long hours. No wonder she got sick. I will keep her and your family in prayers. Hopefully she will have no long term issues from this bout,
I hope to pray with the same open heart as Karen. Bless you all.
My heart goes out to you and your daughter. I wish she didn't have to work such long days that wear her out to begin with. You can ask for too many prayers. It would be so wrong if you didn't ask for prayers. You know there is always room on our prayer lists for another prayer. That is the only list that can never be filled or overfilled. I am so glad she went to the ER and the doctor was a smart one who cared and went the extra mile for her. I hope you manage to create a warm safe spot in the driveway so the 2 of you can talk when she is rested and strong enough. And please don't give into fear. Fear is an emotion that controls you and robs you of hope. I know when I was diagnosed 2 years ago with covid pneumonia and given no hope of survival, I refused to give into fear and clung to God and hope. Please keep us informed of her progress and reach our whenever you need a cyber hug or a shot of hope.
