Toogie, you quilt is beautiful and glad you are feeling better. I really appreciate the tutorial but I couldn't find where she showed how to make an "L" block. That is what we are supposed to start with. Maybe I'm just dense. I have a bunch of scraps I would like to use for this. Your patriotic quilt is a work of art. Thanks for sharing.
Well I must apologize, I thought I went to the end of the video tutorial comments, I did not. I found all my questions were asked and answered below all the compliments.
I’m glad you found what you were looking for. I actually made this quilt one year ago( see the date of my post). This helps me keep track of my quilts, so when someone ask, I can go back and look. Someone else, just ask about this pattern and when I commented below, I meant it to go to the INBOX for her. Crazy me. Anyway now you both have it and I would love to see both of your quilt tops when you’re finished.
Breathtakingly beautiful! What a wonderful way to honor those who have given us so much.
This was a pretty pattern but I can’t even remember who received it. Most of the time I don’t know the guys anyway, but it did make up nice. Thanks !
I couldn’t put the video link

Absolutely beautiful Toogie! So glad you are feeling inspired again. You truly amaze me with what you accomplish. I have at least 5 quilts started and only finished one that was an applique and hand embroidered one that was a kit stashed in my parents attic for years. My grandmother was a prolific quilter (all by hand), but I have not followed in her footsteps.
Your quilts sound like really time consuming quilts, not simple like this one. I’d love to see them when you finish. Thanks
Toogie, thank you for the heads up. I didn’t realize what the “new “ acronym was. I apologize to all.
But girls, this quilt is fabulous!!
Yes, I too saw circles when first looking at this beautiful, Toogie creation! You are on your way dear friend, keep up the good work. Hugs, Suzanna
I think the trick, for the illusion of circles, is using the light and dark alternately. Thank you Suzanna
Hi Toogie, I'm simply amazed at this gorgeous quilt, it is striking in its simplicity. You are amazing and I bet your Veterans just love getting one of your beautiful pieces of art. Love Chris
Thank you Chris. I found the video and I had a spark of old excitement again to want to try it. I am very pleased with the look and think it would be good in any color.
This is so very beautiful! Simply a stunning quilt design!! Well done!
Thank you! Doesn’t the dark and lights almost make a circular effect? They do to me, but then I’m good at spinning, at least my head anyway.
This is another lovely quilt for your veterans. You do very nice work. I’m sure they appreciate all the time and effort you put in to making these. This star pattern is wonderful.
Thank you and yes the veterans are always so humble and grateful. I really like the block process and the way it all came together. Also, loved the fact I used leftover pieces!
The Quilt Queen is back with another stunning quilt
Thank you but I'll bet we have more quilters here that are silent. Not as 'talkative' as me-lol
Well dear if they are they should come out of the dark and share. Your work is always beautiful
I am so delighted to see another of your beautiful quilts. I hope it does mean you are feeling better to. I love this pattern and the colors.
Thanks, I was really drawn to it so maybe that's what I needed to get going again.
