Hi gal, glad you are back up. I've not been embroidering much--have to wait until husband is 'in the mood' to get a little clip off my top tension and cut more of my spring off that I replaced. He lost that little clip 3 times and good thing I put a piece of paper with only that stob where the spring goes or it would have ended up in my machine. My tension is still too tight and told him I shouldn't have to deviate from my default setting that much. He said well we'll fix it and cut more of that spring, but that hasn't happened yet and it's been about a month now once again. But, on your knee and leg. I had complete left knee replacement and that tendon or ligament I had bad issues with it. I think it stemmed from an exercise the PT was giving me--this one exercise I started made a bulge form and I had excruciating pain on the first time he had me do it, I cried and he massaged behind the knee. I told him I never want to do that one again. Upon visit to the knee Dr. and seeing his Nurse Practitioner, he said it was some tendon syndrome, libia tendon or something like that and to continue working it and it would get better in maybe 6 months. Well praise be it did but I still get the Baker Cysts behind the knee at time. He told me yes that will occur. But walking pain free. I still get pain when my leg is in certain positions and the Dr. just said well, you know it is all artificial. I guess I was expecting all to heal and be like a normal knee. I guess it will never be normal. So, I am praying you get relief with that tendon and your back. I'll be certainly praying for you. Patti
Hi Patti, Thank You for your message. Hope you can soon get your machine going. I had to teach myself again how to use the different parts of the Machine. Didn't realise I would forget after 3 years. Had a bad night last night so really sore this morning but I know that eventually my knee will be OK. Had my right knee done 18 months ago with no problems. My surgeon is one of the best so I just have to be patient and do my stretching exercises.
I'm so sorry to hear you have been having so many medical issues, but it's so good to see you stitching again and posting us with updates. I hope we get to see you finished project soon.
What a nice surprise to see you. Welcome back and happy sewing.
Not doing as much as before as I am only doing my local Market now. 5 minutes down the road. Not a very good market but I enjoy having a day out talking to people.
Yay! It's V.E. Day again. Victory in Embroidery in this case. So happy for you to be back stitching.
No wonder I am going deaf. Like to watch TV as I am stitching so the TV goes up louder. Thank Goodness My neighbours are not close.
Such happy news to have you back and stitching again... Embroidery by TM has lovely designs and they stitch out beautifully...great choice!
Have had a few problems with stitching the stitching on the edge of the petals. Have tried so many things but eventually have been doing a little hand stitching to fix the problem.
Hi Lyn, yes her work is very time consuming, but worth it. So great that you are back doing what we all love to do. Love Chris
Still having problems with the ligament at the back of my knee which makes my back sore. Eventually will get to a Physio and I will be back to almost normal.
Lynn how lovely to see you here again. I remember you stitched out some fantastic flower designs in fsl. Machine embroidery can take ages but its fun
Hi, Yes I am back but these Daffodils have taken me for ages. I had forgotten how long they take. Now I have to soak and then assemble them and then put the green tape on the stems.
