I know it has been a very long trip, but at least you managed to experience some very pretty scenery. I'm glad you have been having a safe trip and hope the rest of the family vacation will be filled with lots of fun and plenty of rest too.
Oh Karen, hubby and I both were worn out. It sucks not being able to do without an ache. We arrived before dark but went late to eat at Bennett’s BBQ, Richard’s favorite place to eat here. After we all returned, some played pool while others bathed. After my Tens Unit for my back finished I went to bed. I think it was a chain reaction and everyone hit the sack.-lol Everyone was up at 7am for quick breakfast here or to go eat at a pancake house Richard likes-lol They we’re going to spend the morning at Cades Cove then come back here after lunch. We have to meet the photographer at 5pm.
Have a good trip Toogie, and enjoy yourself.
Thank you my first real trip since before Covid started. Hubby and I are tired. He just said he may sleep in tomorrow and I am inclined to agree. We will see.
Whoo hoo travels have begun. Hope you all arrive in once piece and are not too tired
I hope so too because it makes you wonder how some of these drivers passed their driving test. We have all had some close calls. Eva missed some of the state signs so she was glad I text them to her.
Hey Toogie - safe travels!! Be sure you and your hubby walk around a bit whenever you stop!! Long drives can be hard on backs!! Hugs, Laura
Yes we have been moving. Dalton’s 4 year old was crying wanting out of the car seat so we stopped at a Mc D’s for a quick lunch just so the kids could burn up some energy in their play ground. We will eat good tonight, but need to keep traveling.
