Prayers are surely being answered here! Oh my gosh, Karen was so excited by all your news. Will you get to go home in between treatments or are they too close together to go home? How is your pain that started this whole internal ruckus? I pray that at least that has improved.... much love and thank you for sharing such positive results!
I agree, God has been so present in every step of this journey. We are so impressed that I have already met the gyn radiologist and had the appointment for the radiation simulation. And, yes, the pain is gone. Thanks for being one of my biggest cheerleaders through this journey.
So glad you are on the road to your treatment and recovery...so nice there is a place like Hope Lodge for your accommodations while you get your treatments...So happy you have finally turned the corner and have your plan in place...hugs to you!
Thanks for your continued support. It has been a long journey, but it is so amazing to be free of pain again.
Dear sweet Karen, you have been there so many times for me and I will not let you down with being there for you! Hope Lodge in Vermont is where my stepdaughter would stay when she had treatments. Wonderful place. Praying for you and your handsome and quick-witted hubby. Hugs, Suzanna
I will still be there for you any time you need a shoulder. Thanks for sharing about the hope lodge in VT. We will be staying in one in the southeast and have heard things about that too. My husband is my gift from God and what a blessing he has been and continues to be. Thanks for keeping us in prayer.
My Hubby got his "tattoos" too when he was getting set up for his radiation. His Chemo shot is given to him in him tummy, which gave him a pretty big tummy for the first time in his life.
Wishing you the very best, and glad that you did get promising results.
Continuing with prayers for you.
Hugs
Oh, I had never heard of the chemo being given in the belly. I learn new things every day. Thank you for your continuing prayers. I will be praying for you too.
Dear Karen, I will keep you in my prayers. When the food starts tasting like metal- don't give up- use a straw on the liquids to get the noursihments down. My hubby is going through bladder cancer..God be with you and your family
Karen, so sorry to learn of your health problems but am sending GOOD/HAPY vibes your way... stay positive and laugh a lot!!! Hugs, Dolly
OH, I have 2 sholders for you at any time!!
Karen, you were there for me through my cancer surgery and radiation, and I will be here for you! Please if you need ANYTHING please let me know! i am sending tons and tons of prayers for you and your family! It sounds like all good news but please make sure you take time for yourself and to rest!
Thanks for the update, Karen! I am so happy you are soon to have this as a memory. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily! Hugs, Laura
I am happy for you and any good positive news. It is my hope too that soon this will be behind you and your future will be filled doing all things you so enjoy doing.
Hello Karen, I wish you much strength and that you tolerate the chemotherapy well. With best wishes, Maria
I'm cheering for the good news! I'm praying for your strength and continued courage.
It's great that you are getting started on this early. Tip: take a jar of Aquaphor to use on you skin after the radiation. You can't use it 4 hours prior to treatment, but you can put it on afterwards and wash it off before. About the 2nd week, Mike got a "sunburn", and this helped him immensely. I know that you will be well taken care of. I'm continuing my prayers for you and for your handsome hubby. God bless Karen.
