What a great job you've done on these Laura. My son in law is in England at the moment visiting the world Snooker championships and I think the darts too. He'll be catching up with his Mum in Cambridge soon and then he's taking her to Istanbul. He won't be back home here in Australia till about the 19th May. I love the little crowns, they are just perfect and I am hoping that Steve will get to see King Charles the 3rd be crowned. Love Chris
Thanks, Chris, they were a fun project to make even though it was a ton of stitches! I hope your son-in-law gets to see the coronation too! Safe travels for him!! Hugs!
Wow, your single needle machine and you did a stellar job on these!
Wonderful stitch out. Sure the Grands will love having them on their backpacks. May have been single needle but nice that you had hoop to do multi designs at one time.
I am lucky to have this machine - it is a Baby Lock Flare and will do a 6x10 hoop. I only have 3 grandchildren - but, I can't help but to fill up a hooping - lol.... so, I figure they can share with a friend! Thanks bunches and hugs!!
Very interesting to see that from the other side of the Atlantic that you are making mementos of the Coronation in the UK. Hope your grandchildren enjoy their link to the UK
When I saw the design - I knew I wanted it! I am sure the Grands will love it. Hugs to you!!!
Very nice. Rivets are a great idea for those small spaces. Did you find those in a retail stop, or did you order them on-line?
Thank you!! I purchased the Rivet set on Amazon about 2 years ago. It is a great set, as it has 3 sizes in 4 colors. I don't use them everyday - but, when I need them (as in this case) - they worked great! Hugs and thanks again! Laura
You are always coming up with great projects to share. I know your grands will love them. I hope you are still enjoying the wonderful Florida sunshine.
You are so sweet! Thank you for your kind words! Suzanna just let me know that Michigan is going to have snow on Monday - so we really are enjoy the wonderful Florida sunshine!!
Great job on the royal crowns! And I love your rivet supplies! Did the rivets come as a set? FYI Michigan trees are starting to bud out, and the daffodils are so pretty. OOPs, after 3 days of 80's weather we will be cold for this week, expecting snow on Monday after all it is Michigan!
Thank you, Suzanna!! I bought the rivets 2 years ago when I was stitching Dog Poop Bag Holders!! The set is in 4 colors and three sizes each. I got them on Amazon and I think I paid about $12 for the set. They are very easy to use and I just happened to have them with me in my travel stash.
I have pictures from our kiddos, playing golf this last week - now snow on Monday!?!! I love Michigan but the winters are long!! Hugs to you!
