You have a beautiful family! I see 10 photos.
Thank you and I finally got some photos up. These aren’t the ones I tried to post earlier though. I just wish the others could have been with us. I wanted to just cry when Becca took my picture with my kids, bc my only son wasn’t with us. The girls understood how I felt and teared up as well.
I'm glad to hear you are all home safe and sound after a lovely vacation. I know you visited one of the most beautiful places on earth. That is my opinion anyway. We are also aging. My handsome hubby says we are not old but getting older. I loved all 10 pictures and do hope that every member of your family is able to make the trip.
We are home and 7 didn't get to come. Lanie was suppose to fly in, but she just got a promotion at work and was unable to take off.
Toogie - what a beautiful family group picture.
Oh Toogie, you have such a wonderful family. thank you for taking us your vacation, too..
You have a gorgeous state and we enjoy the sights and sounds every time we go. On the way home, Marsha was already planning a trip to go back.-lol She said she wanted to bring us and Richard's mom Beulah (his dad's dead) because she doesn't think we had much of a vacation babysitting Avery. I told her we were fine to do that. I can enjoy the fact that the others could go and have a good time and weren't hindered, by stopping for tube feedings or diaper changes and were able to enjoy things that were not wheelchair accessible. I get just as much enjoyment just hearing how they had fun doing whatever they did when they got back. Eva expresses her feelings, which I think is different, for most US teenage girls. The girls here would be too embarrassed to be seen hugging a grandmother in public or showing so much excitement.-lol
Such beautiful photos of your family, Toogie! You were in God's country for sure! Avery has grown so much and she looks so pretty in her lace dress! You have a beautiful family and they have brought to you more to adopt as yours. I don't see a fat lady, I see a blessed woman whose heart shines brightly.
You always see the good, thank you. I just loved how this bridge hugs back and forth around the mountain side. Becca, the photographer said this road was recently opened up because we told her we had never been this way before. It has some beautiful views, but a photo can never capture the depth, of the valleys or the height and distance, of the mountains like the naked eye can see. I silently thanked my Lord for creating this beauty for all to see.
All 10 photos showed up and what a treat they are. Love the matching blue shirts and jeans and the jump (pic 8) is awesome. Definitely looked like a good time. Sorry some had to miss it.
I am sorry too, because at our age, we may not be able to do this again. Although Richard said he's already picked the next family vacation state...Wyoming! So if any of you are from there, tell us where to go...just in case we are able to make another trip.
Oh, Toogie, I can see the pictures just fine! They are lovely! So, sorry that you were missing your son and his with this group. But, you are blessed and it shows! Rest up my friend! Hugs, Laura
Laura, I am anxious to see the rest of the pics. Dawson is autistic and one reason the kids chose this photographer is she has a special needs child and knows the time it takes to get them to cooperate. It is especially hard with a group this size and of course also hard to get a good shot of Avery. She took more time than the kids paid for and also was considerate of what we wanted. When she took my picture with my two girls I wanted to cry because my only son wasn't there.
Loved seeing our Cutie in her lace Easter dress. Now she KNOWS she's a princess.
Betsey, I use to tease Avery, because every time she heard the word 'pretty' she would light up. I would tell her, people weren't always speaking about her-lol
Success toogie I see pictures and they are great. I am enjoying your holiday
The pictures are awesome! The one of you and your husband is stunning! You are so lucky to have an amazing family. Family vacation to remember forever. So glad you were able to go and enjoy the trip.
Thank you, I am glad too. The first two days we spent recuperating from the traveling and gave my back more time to get better. The beds were actually better than mine at home so that helped.
I just wish our son and other grands could have gone. Thanks for letting me know you can see the pic.
What a great looking group, with beautiful trees and views as background. I hope it has been a joyous family time this week.
We are all safely home again and everyone said they so enjoyed the time spent, although we are all tired, by the time we arrive home. It was 747 miles one way and we travel only stopping for fuel, bathrooms, or a fast food meal. Thank you for letting me know you can see the picture.
