These shooting are the saddest and senseless. I hope one day, we can end this violence. Their poor families and friends - I pray for them.
So very sad for the whole community and unfortunately this whole nation is suffering this same violent dilemma.....prayers for all involved and affected 😢
Thanks to all of you. Two who died would have graduated the end of May from high school, so that will be an especially tough day for friends and survivors and families.
The whole thing is so sad my heart and prayers are with all that are affected by this tragedy! I know here there is such a shortage of workers in every field of work including mental health workers! My best friend's daughter is 22 years old and was a social butterfly but after the lockdown she became completely withdrawn and is like the rest of the teenagers and 20 somethings they have completely turned to their electronics! My friend's daughter just sits on social media now while life is passing her by! My friend has tried to get her help but her daughter keeps saying she is afraid and that she feels socially awkward now around people! The other problem is so many places are not taking any more new patients and the rest had 6 months or longer waiting lists for her to be seen! Sometimes I think technology has hurt us all especially our youth much more than it has helped us!
I just read about this! It is sickening that so many people are turning violent. I have to wonder if any of them were already in counseling and if so, why are these tragedies happening?
I've been praying for them. I can't imagine the trauma left in the wake of this devastation.
Are we all listening for the cries for help? The cries certainly must be out there begging for someone to hear. We need to be vigilant and ready to find the right kind of help for those suffering from a break in their mental health.
Prayers for all. So tragic! I wish we could do more for those that need help BEFORE they decide to be violent! The mental health crisis is heartbreaking.
