Your friends blessed to have a friend like you. this quilt is a very special and lovely gift.
Beautiful job Carolyn. You always are doing so much for others.
That's quite a project! I haven't tried to make a real quilt yet.
Carolyn, this is gorgeous!!! Your friend is going to love this. You've put so much work into this and I love the design. Oh mercy, I have 2 machines down that I am working on but the mood has to be there. Also G has to oversee me, lol--when he's in the mood. Love this, girl.
Wow, Carolyn...you take on such huge projects and this one is so fantastic!
That is a great work of love! I love the idea of using words & names as the quilted centerpiece of a QB. Did you quilt the long strips yourself as free motion?
Hi Carolyn, I could have sworn I commented on this, but I can't find it. I wanted to know where you got the designs from, and I see now you have got it in the post. Great work and your friend will love it. Love Chris
You have done and amazing job on this quilt! You say $4 for each wording? I can't imagine the total cost for making this beautiful quilt, I love the green too.
Carolyn this is superb. I have been aware of you not being here much recently and now I can see why. What a wonderful piece of work for your friends. They are extremely lucky to have you as a friend.
Oh, my...this is superb Carolyn, it will be treasured for sure. What a lucky friend. Congratulation for such a great work. Hugs: Roberta
Awesome indeed! Green is my favorite color, so I like it even more.
Question: If you had it to do over again, would you use a quilt as you go approach? I have tried both ways, and found the quilt as you go to be much more time consuming for me. Both methods have their advantages and drawbacks. Just curious. You did a good job!!
Well i think i have done 5 this way now but for me i can always squeeze in a pattern or two and do other things /.So i guess yes i would lol
Lovely quilt, and that quilting, WOW!!
Your friends are going to love it, I'm sure!
It’s a wonderful gift, and your friend will be overjoyed. Love the greens.
