Just a little explanation to show why those who digitize sequence the stitching the way we do instead of lumping all of the same color together.......before I started digitizing when I stitched out a design I wondered why a certain color that was used more than once wasn't done at the same time......of course alot has to due when overlapping colors sometimes the colors need to be layered, other reason am showing below in pictures......the first 2 pics of the bee wings show what happens when the black outline was stitched with all the other black in the design.....the last 2 pics shows why I broke them up.....the black veins in the wings stitched right after the base color and pale yellow....you can see the black outline registers perfect in the last 2 pics compared to the first 2 pics.......Hope this wasn't too confusing....πŸ€”

When I first started embroidering, I thought the same thing. Why did they have the same color listed more than once? As the design stitched out I realized why it was multiple color changes. I was and still am, amazed when the last outline stitch, usually black makes a design pop. Keep up the good work.

Not confusing at all. What a great description. I am not a digitiser and it is always so useful to have such snippets of information given. I have PE11 and really need to 'try harder' at mastering it to a greater level. Vicki keep up your great work and the information from time to time
