UPDATE AND PIC BELOW

Baby shower in morning- just finished so mother will have to wash- gotta get them wrapped! Can you tell I’m rushed-lol
Pinwheels are the same on each, just placed differently. Backs are different but there is a pinwheel in each top like their backs. 48x63 so they can use them longer. Third picture shows the texture better. I stipple quilted in all the white background and outlined the pinwheels.
They will be surprised I made these quilts. They came a long way to be with us during stressful time, when our twins, Avery & Isabella, were in the hospital. I always appreciated that. I think they will like these quilts. I hope so anyway.
UPDATE- Here is Eudora with her babies quilts today.

You are a miracle worker to get these 2 done so quickly. I have no doubt the mothers will love and treasure their quilts. I certainly would.

I just added the mom to be opening them. I have the other baby quilt started but I will finish it next week, hopefully.

They are gorgeous! I like the size too. That is a lot of stippling, but you do it well! They will be loved for sure!

Thanks Nan, I do know the grandma -to-be will, as she treasures handwork things. Just hope the daughter does.

Perfect for baby! Your quilting and fabric choices are lovely. Do you do the stippling yourself on your regular home sewing machine? Wish I had half your talent. You’re very good at it.

All but 3 pinwheel fabrics and one of the backings came in a kit. Yes I do the stippling, free hand on my long arm machine. It looks like a regular machine in a way, but no feed dogs and about 3 times as much space between the needle and the motor. It’s 18 inches throat space. I have ruler quilted one for my oldest granddaughter ( it’s posted here ) but other than that one I usually stipple quilt. It’s relaxing to me and anything else takes me too long- lol Thanks

I’ll let you know. My plan was to try to finish 3 because another girl will be at this shower and she’s having a boy. However, since I started these late Monday and with a day of dr appointment and shopping, then half day to go another place for machine quilting thread, I ran out of time to complete the baby boy quilt.

I am sure the two families will have much to talk about and laugh over. Have a delightful time with them. You have been such a wonderful adoptive grandma to Eva.
