Hi Vicki, oh! this is just gorgeous. I'm so glad that she can come and get some relief from the heat. We get dreadful heatwaves in Australia, and I know our Koalas appreciate getting cooled down, as does all fauna. Love Chris
The raccoon here come out at night. I have heard them splashing in the pot of water hubby puts out in the back of the yard. There is one that asks politely for food! I will try to get a pic. They have not been coming over as much as during the winter. We have community cats and the raccoons eat their food.
Yep, up north the coons came out at night and ate the cat food. For this group we bought dog food as it is so much cheaper and this momma comes and looks in the door when she is hungry, she runs to the other side of the carport when I go out to feed, then she comes right back. She comes sometimes 3 times a day....very unusual, I think.....
You are a nice lady. So thoughtful. I always enjoy your posts about your cats.
They are smart and I don’t blame it for getting in the water. This heat is a killer! I walked to the back and before I made it back to the house, I told hubby I was weak from the heat. It’s been a little cooler they say at 97. We are hoping to have our family bbq reunion but I don’t know how we will stand the heat.
You're not kidding, Toogie about the heat zapping ones energy.....I have been staying in during this intense heat wave....I hope your BBQ went well!
What a great idea for us all to do. I can see she is so very appreciative of your kind gesture. What fun for you and the fur babies to watch the babies grow up, too. This looks like an inspiration for another design category.
It's so cute how she gets into the tub and submerges herself and rests her chin on the edge...lol
Great pictures. Don't put any kitty food outside or he'll be your best friend and can eat more than his weight in construction materials - siding, lumber, etc.
