Sending a few pictures of our June month sewing project. I did a sample with scrap knit to make sure the pattern fit--that is the green tee. A tad too big at neck and on the shoulder so I tweaked my paper pattern for the dress. One gal said I should finish the sample too so I did. Now the sergers will be cleaned and put away awhile.

Good job! It;s always good to try out a pattern with something that's not the main fabric. You wouldn't want to mess that up. Now we need you to model them so we can 'meet' you!

I'm glad you finished both projects and shared with us. I used to love working with knits so nice to see people are still using knots. I like the lettuce hems. I never see them anymore.

Someone suggested me trying the 'lettuce' hem and I thought yes I will. I really didn't want to turn up a hem and make it any shorter. Had planned on using the double needle for a hem until this suggestion came. A bit crooked on my elastic deco stitch at the topstitching of green tee but oh, well, that is how that cookie crumbled, lol. My sergers are cleaned and put away for now. I have another old Husqvarna that I sat on a table and will try to figure out the threading for a cover stitch while I am recuperating.

They both look lovely, a job well done.

Thank you. I hadn't messed with knit fabric especially thin knit in a very long time.

Thank you lots. I could tweak my shoulder on one side a bit to make my stripes look even but it was my trial and placement of using a scrape didn't allow for that and I got tired messing with it anyways. Still wearable.
