New addition to the family........we had a painter come and paint the inner part of our carport but I made him go around this momma and her nest.......I know she has already laid eggs and was not going to let anyone hamper all her hard work......she came right back after he was done with the painting and he left us with enough to paint this are behind her when everyone "flys the coop"...

Sweet! She chose the best safe place!

I love it! I hope we get to see some more pictures of the babies. I wonder if she will make this an annual event.

Will post them as I see them....I don't know how many eggs she has laid and not sure when so don't know when they will hatch.....keeping an eye for sure🧐

Aren't they amazing birds? I love our native fauna and as I've posted before we have possums in our gum tree. Of course our Kookaburra is in the lower section too, so it's prime real estate! Love Chris

I wish I knew what breed she is....she has a speckled breast that I see when I look through my binoculars.....I love seeing her little beanie head peaking up over her nest...
