Wowzer Sewmom......what a fantastic job on this pup!! So glad you showed your final result!!
Final stitch out is added to the post now! It turned out great! I made mistakes. The worst one was not digitizing properly so the eye area was too thick. The white of the eyes wouldn't stitch without breaking so I did it by hand. I didn't want to take the time to redo the whole thing.
Great digitizing!! This looks just like my dog. I am anxious to see the stitch out.
Well done. You must be pleased with your digitized effort. Hugs Maureen
Wow, great work, I am thrilled, wow. I embroider mainly dogs, the specified colors are never correct, I always need three attempts until it is right. Hugs Maria
This one sure looks real & You have the eyes perfect!! Are they for a surprise?
No surprise. I put their 2 dogs on a duffel bag a few years ago but 1 dog passed away. My son asked me to decorate a new bag with the surviving dog and their new dog. It’s for DIL’s birthday but she knows about it.
Excellent likeness of the dog. You’re doing a great job with this. Can’t wait to see it stitched out. What will this become in the end (framed wall hanging pillow, etc.)?
What a great job you have done so far. You should be proud.
Looking good...can't wait to see your test stitch out... did you use the photo stitch option or manually digitize every element?
I used photo stitch, it was too open so I made a black underlay (pink under tongue) to go under the whole thing so the light fabric won’t show through. If it’s too dense I may remove the underlay and add a black fabric but right now it’s going on light gray as a rectangular patch.
I separately digitized the eyes for more definition.
I did try auto digitizing in satin stitch which looked great on the computer but it was over 60,000 stitches. Right now it’s about 30,000.
Thanks for the information Sewmom... Looking forward to seeing your stitch-out.
