Another Beauty!! I love the scrappy look and the border really frames the entire quilt to show it off. You do such beautiful work and in record time.
Thanks Pam, I made this top, after our family vacation in April or May, but put off quilting it until now. I guess I was silly or crazy, but I just loved this buttery backing fabric and didn't want to use it. Is that crazy or what? I wasn't sure to use it on this quilt or how it would look, since I didn't have any of it in the front. Also, I know I won't keep the quilt and so that means the fabric I like so much will be gone-Silly, uh....lol
It is not crazy...or maybe I am too. I understand about fabric being too pretty to use. I have some I feel the same way about.
Another super quilt from you toogie. I really dont know where you find time to make as many quilts as you do. Gosh the heat you are going through is hotter than I have ever known. Perhaps you dont want to know but its been rather wet and cool for me recently
It’s very dry and hot here. The breeze when there is any makes it feel like a heater blowing. Yesterday while traveling to my quilt group, I noticed leaves constantly falling as if it was the fall of the year. I forget where it’s located but in the Bible we are told about the seasons getting mixed up.
Thanks about the quilt. My daughter Marsha is showing interest in wanting to learn so I can only hope!
Beautiful! I have no doubt your daughter is going to be pleased as punch with her quilt. And thank you for taking care of you. Hugs to your friend Lynn for doing the quilting. Teamwork is always a good thing.
I guess I was talking out both sides of my mouth and didn’t make myself understood. This is the smaller size quilt that I quilted . It’s like the blue one that I made Eva.
My daughters now King size at 104x118 is going to Lynn tomorrow for her to quilt.
I will edit to add post about Eva’s and also post about Marsha’s quilt that I thought was big enough. Not! Look above at links.
Thanks, this one is an orphan quilt at the moment.😉
