Good day Cuties!
I don’t think I’ve told you but I have been searching high and low for my wedding set of rings. When I take them off it’s usually to wash dishes so they are above the sink on my 6 inch wide window seal or on my bedroom dresser in a container. They weren’t there. I had just cleaned my sewing room so it was easy to see they weren’t in there either. I looked on the side table by my recliner. No luck. I went out at night and searched my car thinking maybe they slipped off. Not there. Looked at every available space from one end of the house to the other. Earlier when I first started searching I joked with my hubby about he might have to buy me a new ring. However as I looked and couldn’t find it, I almost cried. I didn’t want a replacement ring. I wanted my set I got almost 55 years ago. So late that night I told my husband I wasn’t gonna be able to sleep because I wanted to find my rings. I told him the last day I remembered I had them was Thursday, our sewing day. He said maybe they slipped off when I cleaned up after Lidia. I said my rings fit well but if that was the case, they were gone for sure as I threw towels, napkins and a bowl Lidia threw up in. I was heartbroken. As I sat here I thought, I don’t remember taking them off to clean up the floor but I went to the bathroom and dug in the dirty clothes hamper for the clothes I wore Thursday. The pockets on my capris are not deep so I usually don’t put anything in them but…as I felt inside I touched my rings! Imagine my joy! They may not be anything special, to anyone else, but they are to me ( the diamonds are rather small). Needless to say I slept better Saturday night after finding them. ❤️Toogie

18495God is so good! He kept those rings in the pocket until you found them. And I agree, they are beautiful just like your hands. Your hands create and share so much love and those rings are a testimony to the love you and your handsome hubby share.

169064I am so happy that you found your rings.... Many years ago, I too lost both my rings. It was Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, and I was making the daily smabosa (meat pies) and as usual I removed the rings (way too much flour on the table) then finished and cleaned up. Later I realized that I didn't have my rings on.... We searched the table and kitchen trash bag but no luck. My 12 year old son was on the ball and went out to the trash bin and took apart the big bag we had thrown out..... YES he found them!!! Quite a relief....

I can understand s we by women take their rings off. So glad you were able to find yours,too. After this happened I thought I wouldn’t take them off again. Then I went to make meatballs and changed my mind so off the rings came. I made sure to put them back on later.

I just saw a video the other day showing how a dr gets rings off. I’m so happy I found them, too!

I thought they were when he got them many years ago, but they do have special meaning to me, thanks. My girls have prettier so no one will want mine except for sentiment.

I know! I don’t usually put anything in my pocket because they are so shallow but I was moving in a hurry, tending to Lidia. I guess that part I did without thought except to keep them clean.

I have my moms ring and won’t wear it for the same reason. I don’t wanna have it resized tho. Mine are a little loose but not loose enough to loose. I think it’s a 5 1/2 maybe 6 but my fingers are small. Ashley wears a 4 or 4 1/2 and Marsha’s is a 5 I think. When we had our photography shoot, the photographer was gonna get a close up of our hands. I had to wear/ borrow Marsha’s for our picture bc I left mine at home! She said you better be able to get it off! I did
44904My little diamond had been in my grandmother's ring. We had it put into a setting with opals before we got married. The jeweler said - "but the diamond there now is so much bigger why don't you keep it instead?" I told him, no thanks and that my grandmother's diamond meant so much to me. Thanks Laura, Grayson had Ashley’s made from family diamonds. Her ring and later I think earrings.

255054I lost my diamond once for 3 days and I know that joy when you find it. Mine was in the gutter at the street from when I was mowing (fell out of setting). Changed my prayer life, among other things. Did anyone ever tell you you could be a hand model?

I know you coulda danced when you found it! My husband found a teachers Diamond that she lost out of her set. She said not only was it surprising he found it but surprising that he found it bc it was so small-lol

Ps . I have never had a manicure in my life but after having you say this , I shoulda examined my nails before the picture. I just was lookin at the RINGS!-lol
66911Our rings have our history in them and are irreplaceable. So glad that yours have reappeared. I lost my engagement ring for a couple of years or so and was delighted when I found it again. Beautiful rings
