URGENT prayers requested
Fire! Please pray for rain to put out fires, safety of our firefighters, people and homes.We haven't gotten any rains in a very long time and everything is dying, so making fuel for fires. 14,000 acres have burned by last night and fire is still un-contained, so I don't know how much more today. It's spreading fast because of dryness and winds.
My son is a firefighter. So is sewmom's son (in California though). Please pray for all firefighters fighting fires here today and everyday, and everywhere, while we are in this drought and heat.
While we aren't too close to this fire yet, we see the sky is smoky here.
My son has a crew he is over and just last week he was in control of stopping a fire close. His state boss commended him for working so fast and diligently to contain the fire, even though it burned about 1500 acres.
Twenty five people have died statewide from just heat, mostly men working outdoor jobs. I have been praying for those men. I can't imagine working a fire in this heat.
Our son told us in the previous fire, when a bulldozer got too hot, it shut down. That is dangerous, because the firefighter could easily be trapped, amidst the fires.
Please ask the Lord to intervene and send down the rains, we so desperately need to put out these fires and prevent more from starting. Pray the fires stop. Pray for protection for all fighting the fires and the homes and people in the fires path. Please Lord, send us rain. All this I ask in Jesus name.

Our world is crazy out of control, just as it says it would happen in Revelation. But take comfort that we both know who has already won this battle of good versus evil. And know that God is holding you and every firefighter in His arms.

Florida is low on the rain now also and I feel that with this heat, and the drying of under growth being such a threat that maybe some of the rules for conservation areas should be enforced. We recently had a larger conservation behind our development that was all bulldozed and homes put in. And thank your son for his valent efforts in his job.

Thank you Shirley from the bottom of my heart. Thanks too, to our neighboring state (all in God's plan) for sending planes to help contain the huge fire. My son said 2 firefighters quit.
I told him I understood because it has to be hard emotionally, to go into danger like that. He said it is. He said there was a time long ago, he wanted to turn around, because it IS hard facing 90 feet flames. He said the airplane pilot had to guide him through or he wouldn't have made it. The pilot told him which way to go and he could do it. This was after he was once trapped. They have to get in front of the fires or ahead of it and plow, to try to stop it. The bulldozers have hydraulics and when it gets too hot, they shut down. The fires can easily overtake you if that happens. Please continue to pray for rain. Everyone needs relief from the heat, the earth needs the moisture and the firefighters need to rest.

Mother Nature is certainly not happy, fires, earthquakes, torrential rains. We pray for our world to settle down. Definitely praying for all our firefighters and their families. Love Chris

It is scary living in the times scripture has warned us about isn't it. The wars, floods, earthquakes, storms and fires all happening all over the world, not to mention the evil people are capable of. All we can do is spread His word and look forward to the rapture, because we are warned of much worse. The big fire is contained but we still need rain.

He called us to let us know he is okay and that the BIG fire is now contained. Thank you for your prayers, keep them coming as it's still threats of fires bc of drought.
