I love your process, Toogie, of layout, audition. I love each of your quilts--you are the quilt master! Oh, I know all about mood and sewing or embroidery. I am hoping to get back to anything soon.
Thank you, hope you’re feeling better soon. I finally got Sharon’s pattern right and ran out of fabric- check it out in Community/Sewing.
I have a couple i need to start but just can't get in the mood for quilts
I understand exactly how you feel, when you need to be in the mood. Sometimes I have to make myself finish bus trip gifts, for my niece. I’m not always in the mood to make something I have made over and over.
Well done Toogie, it is stunning as are all your QOV quilts.
I'm in the middle of cutting out a colourwash heart shaped lap quilt for Mum's 90th in January. Stinking hot here today, so the air conditioner is working well. Love Chris
I get so hot quilting even with the AC on. I guess bc I’m half way wrapped in it to quilt-lol
I want to see ‘Mum’s’ quilt when you’re finished. My 95 year old brother in law went into a nursing home a couple months ago. He was getting dementia and couldn’t live alone anymore, but is adjusting well now.
Now that is what is called creative. Beautiful finish work. Congratulations and thank you for sharing.
I Think it is Stunning!!!!You did Excellant job!! Love It!!!
Stunning work, Toogie.....Everything flows together and sure accents the pic in the middle.....
I like it! Somebody will love that you made it for them and will feel appreciated.
Your top looks beautiful in its simplicity, as far as making a quilt could ever be simple. I love the colours you used.
I bet you'll soon figure out how to use the panel.
Love, Martine
Toogie - I really do like what you did with your squares. Good luck with the panel. I am sure you will do something fantastic with it.
