I feel a tad guilty posting (with so many Cute sisters having difficulties) ... but next week, my hubby and I begin our "once in a lifetime" vacation. We will fly to Belgium for a two week to visit our oldest son and his sweet family (Grandson Henry will be turning 8 while we are there). They will take us to Paris and possibly to some towns in Germany. Then Hubby and I fly to Rome for 3 days (visiting the Vatican, Coliseum, Pantheon, etc). Then we travel to the coast and pick up our transatlantic cruise ship that will cruise to other ports in Italy, France, Spain, through the straits of Gibraltar, then the Azores, Bermuda and lastly Fort Lauderdale. Hopefully I will be able to post now and then. I hope I don't miss wishing too many Birthday wishes! We are anxious and excited about this trip, as this is a first for us! We leave on Tuesday, October 10. Loads of hugs to everyone here!! Laura

I am so delighted for you. What a wonderful trip of a lifetime you will be having during these weeks. Even if you can’t keep us updated during the trip we will enjoy seeing your pictures later. Rest as much as you can on the Atlantic crossing. The time changes will be tough

Sounds delightful and don't feel guilty. Enjoy. Life is full of ups and downs. My college roommate brought back miniatures as souvenirs of the places she went while abroad. Fits nicely in a corner in the suitcase.
