I bought a set of 4 cute back chair Xmas decor they arrived today so sad they are 3 inches smaller than my chair I need to add three inches but I do not want to do too much work I would like an easy way to fix this problem..I really do not want to returned them.. thank you

I’m guessing they are supposed to slip over the backs.? Can side seams be opened and ribbon ties added?
