These holiday cards are nice. Tell me, is the design stitched directly on the card stock or how is the front done? I don't see the stitching inside, so am wondering.
On another note, I found a site this morning that had some quilting block pendants, that are just the cutest! I would love one but my Santa doesn't shop anymore.-lol
I stitch the embroidery designs on PelTex, then I attach the embroidered piece of PelTex to the card with the decorative motif around it. You don't need to worry about any design density stitching like you would if you stitched directly on the card. I print the wording on the card stock before I start and then attached the embroidery design.
You always do justice to the embroidery designs, Kim.
Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Mary
Beautiful card! I too am busy making card inserts. Your cards are always so nicely done.
Wow! Kim these look fantastic. Your sewing is superb. Love Chris
Thanks so much Chris... I have missed you for the past few weeks...glad to see you are back!
I hope the receiver's end up making these special cards as tree ornaments---what beautiful keepsakes. Did you stamp or embroidery the tiny fonts of Cmas wishes? If it is a font it is truly remarkable and beautiful also. Happy Thanksgiving as well.
Thanks Patti... I printed the inside saying on card stock before I added the embroidery on the front...
I agree, this is a beautiful card to treasure.
