Vicki was discharged Friday. She is not out of the woods but is glad to be home. She sleeps a lot most likely because of the pain meds and other meds the dr's prescribed. When we arrived home, there was an envelope in the mailbox with a lovely card, and embroidered fsl heart (she says is a closure) with a christian cross. She cried when she saw it and holds it close to her heart when she prays. We want to Thank Nancy for the package and all the others who have sent wonderful caring messages and prayers. Please continue to pray that Vicki can overcome this aggressive disease. Jim and Vicki

Jim, being home is the best medicine that Vicki could get.I read that healing happens when the body rests, so tell her to keep resting and healing. I pray that you find comfort and that she is clinging to her faith for strength. My prayers include her doctors and diagnostic tools available.God bless you and keep you.

Hi Jim, Meg rang me in tears informing me of Vicki's disease and I am so sorry to read this. I lit a candle for her on Sunday morning at our Eucharist. I pray that she can feel the presence of the Lord comforting her and you during this trial. Love and prayers Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
