What pretty gifts. Yes we all need to use our fabric stash and this is a wonderful way.Best thing is it can be carried anywhere. Great job.
These are so nice and useful too! Great job on all. The children will love them for sure!
These are a work of love and I'm excited for your christmas. So far, I have not came up with something 'special' like I usually try to do...I'm in a slump I guess.
I am sure you will figure it out. I want to make them all candy cane holders too, but don't know if that will get done. It means I have to go out and buy felt. LOL
My goodness, that picture is showing a huge amount of love and devotion and hours spent creating very special reading pillows. I know you spent a lot of time picking out the fabrics too.
I tried to use material that I might have had...and that didn't work out at all. LOL I don't have a lot of fabric for kids. I usually buy for their projects as I do them. But, I did get some that I used, so that saved a little. My grand-daughter gave me a little picture a long time ago that says
"She who dies with the most Fabric wins"....I have to chuckle each time I see it. LOL Hugs
I would like my husband to read this part very carefully. Quote 'I tried to use material that I might have had...and that didn't work out at all. LOL"
He always says as much as I have I always seem to need more. I might have enough of everything for a project or I may need background fabric bc I don't have ENOUGH but he thinks it could all be made with ANY of the fabrics. I and Karen would both be spinning with vertigo if he pieced something-lol
That's a lot of love sitting on the sofa. Congratulations on completing this major project. I love the fabrics, carefully chosen for each child's book and the Handle on the pillow is a really nice touch.
Books are my favorite gift items and the pillows make them very special. Hugs. Nan
They all look so colourful; great work! May the grands love holding a real book in their hands. Mine prefer e-readers and I think they miss a lot of fun.
I do use a lot of the E-readers books, but turning pages let you know you are accomplishing something.
What a lovely labour of love and I am sure you have had fun creating them
