Sad News to report tonight.

im very saddened to read of Vicki's passing she was a beautiful lady and so kind , but what a blessing to know she is now out of pain and with her heavenly Father I lost my daughter just before Christmas to Cancer too . Monika

However, as I'm catching up I'm so sorry to see from all the beautiful tributes, it's true. Vicki was truly talented and an inspiration w/all of her wonderful designs. She will be very much missed and my prayers for strength and healing during this most difficult time.

Oh! dear Jim, I've been away up at our son's place over the weekend and babysitting our younger daughter's kids and haven't been on here.
I have just come on here at 1.00pm Monday afternoon to read this sad news.
Thankyou so much for keeping us informed of her daily struggles and I'm forever grateful for her beautiful designs and the stories of the many cats and your beautiful new home.
Vicki's life on earth was filled with love and I know how much she loved you and all people.

Jim, thank you for putting aside your deep grief long enough to let us know that our friend is in the presence of the Lord. I can't fatham how you must feel in this world without your precious wife. Please know that you will continue to be in my prayers as you begin a different life. I am so happy to hear that you feel her spirit with you. It is obvious how you cherished her and what a gift that was to her!

Jim I am sooo so sorry. My heart is weeping with yours. Vicki was so much more than another Cutie to me. She and I shared not only our love for sewing and embroidery... and CATS, but our love for people and our values. She loved everyone, she showed compassion for all living things. She loved cats as much as I did, and always was concerned for mine and shared yours with me. I am heartbroken. Yet, I share with you that you can feel her presence. After our son Ben passed away, Vicki was one of the people who truly understood that our son's life would live on in Heaven. She shared her faith with me. I know she is singing with the angels. My heart joins in celebrating her life, but feeling a deep sadness she will no longer be here with us. God will comfort you, Jim, and you will always feel her with you. Hugs, Jan

Dear Jim, I have been struggling to find the best way to tell you how deeply sorry I am. I felt connected in so many ways, especially when she told about y’all building your own house, because we did too. She also patiently worked, with me testing my grandson’s design, until she got it right.
I knew the diagnosis was not good but didn’t expect the loss so soon. I know you must feel all kind of emotions, because I know how I feel and what I feel is not even close to your feeling of loss. I’m just heart sick.
I am so thankful though of the faith that you both express so we are assured of her salvation. We can find comfort in knowing that. May you find strength, peace and comfort now and in the days ahead. Know that she was admired and loved by many, including me. Toogie

I heard this news from another Cutie as I can't log on too often due to cancer myself and treatments. I am so sorry for you Jim, life gets so hard to handle sometimes but God is with us everyday and we rejoice that as a Christian we know we are going to a better place, a home in Heaven. If we could get everyone to believe it would be so wonderful. Thankfully my son and his family are still believer's while my daughter's family and adult kids are leaning more left and liberal. I have a very long prayer list but I do pray for them all. You are one of them. Stay strong, honor any of her last wishes with pride that you're wife was so loved my many. Peafarm p.s. I just read this to my husband. He has so many things wrong in every part of his body and finally got worried enough about his stomach, colon so he has an appt with a gastro Dr. now. He also has a follow up with his heart Dr. and afraid of needing another stent or open heart. He is very scared of test due to extreme claustrophobia but I hope him being scared will override this now. He gets pains under his arms too but calls them his 'ghost pains' they come and go. Again, may God travel within you in your time of need.

I have just learned with profound sorrow the sad news. She was loved in this community for her generosity and good work, she will be long remembered by all.

Oh Jim, such heart breaking news. Knowing she is in a better place is comforting, but I am still crying, probably more for you as I really did not know her well. I am so thankful for all your updates so that this did not hit us out of the blue, or worse yet, leave us wondering what happened. Your post is a wonderful tribute to your dear wife.
