Oh Toogie, this isn’t a quilt, but an heirloom. Beautiful!!!!
Wow! It is beautiful! Excellent work as usual. Happy Holidays!
That's absolutely beautiful! Well done Toogie.
Hugs, Lidia
Thank you I always liked a quilt with small pieces but I thought this one would never end.-lol I don’t like a lot of repetition. I get bored so that’s why I refuse to buy patterns. Once I make one I want to try something different.
What a beautiful quilt! I know it was a challenge and a chore but, in the end, it is stunning! She must have been overwhelmed with the results. You are one determined and deliciated fabulous quilter! Sending Merry Christmas and happy new year wishes to you and your family, Suzanna
It’s sometimes hard to read her, but I know when she opened it she said, “Ah, my quilt”. Thanks for looking!
What a beautiful quilt Toogie! I love those colours too!
Merry Christmas!

I know what you mean by wanting to make each one of your children something they will love after you have spent all the love, effort, time and money. A person just wants to say "I'm not doing that". But we do because they are our children. I love this quilt. The pattern is something I would love so I'm glad I saw your post. This is a beautiful quilt from the heart. Merry Christmas.
It’s a YouTube video so it’s like a free pattern. Yes I want to leave them something that I made. Thanks
Toogie, I could not help smiling when reading the story of this work of love (and frustration). I have one daughter like that albeit less extreme.
I love your quilt!! it is so beautiful. Your daughter will be over the moon. Merry Christmas!
Thanks mops. It’s odd how you can raise all children in the same house and still they be so different in some ways. Ashley would claim them all - lol She has her King I made, Avery has her Double Slice more a Full size, Nora has used her Queen for the last 9 years, and Grayson has his deer large throw size as he is 6 foot 4. I only have Mason and Gus left in her family, but now my quilting machine is broken so I will have to bring it somewhere.
Thanks and I hope your holidays are full of love and peace.
I think she will be knocked over! I was! This is a beautiful piece of art. Merry Christmas!
It is a real work of art. Well done. I sure hope she loves it after what you have been through with it. Have a lovely day. Hugs
Wow it is so huge and beautiful! she is so lucky to have you and all of your talents also! The shams are perfect too! What a treasure she will have on Christmas morning! Merry Christmas from PA!
What a grand effort Toogie, I feel your pain as I've made a few King size quilts, but I get my quilter to quilt them for me.
I know your daughter will love it. Merry Christmas to you and your family, love Chris
Thanks Chris, I want to wish you a very special Christmas with your mum and all your lovely family, you share with us!
What a beautiful quilt. Your daughter will simply be thrilled! It is understandable that it isn't your favorite because of all the changes it took to complete! But, it is finished and she will love it! Well done! Merry Christmas! Hugs, Laura
Well toogie what a story BUT its finished and off to its new owner. You have great patience I have to say. Finally, how amazing at only a weeny piece of fabric left from a fantastic quilt making saga
Betsey maybe you didn’t understand when I said, it will be out of my sight in two days!!!! I am finished.-lol
Caroline, I was worried till the end I would need another piece of fabric!-lol
