So wonderful you got to spend Christmas with so many of your family...
Lovely pictures, Toogie! Nothing in this world like having family together for Christmas!! Hugs to you and yours! Laura
Thanks Laura. I know some of yours is out of the country, but I do hope you were able to have the others over.
I am so glad you spent Christmas with your wonderful family. Everyone looks great and the picture of you, slicing the meat loaf was priceless. This is the third Christmas without my family. Due to the pandemic then next year I was sick, this year canceled because I was exposed to covid when I went to visit my sister at the memory care facility. Maybe we should do the Christmas in July thing. I usually have about 20+. I am sure we will get together in January. Happy New Year and praying for world peace, Suzanna
Awe Suzanna, that’s so disappointing not to be able to gather up on Christmas. I was sick the week before. In fact, Caleb and I both got sick the same day. I went to the doctor and they test for strep, flu and Covid. All came back negative so just the common old cold. However, Caleb test positive for flu. He and Rylan were sick but recovered in time for Christmas and no one else got sick. I hope y’all do gather in January so you can see the families.
Oh and speaking of the picture of me slicing the meatloaf, Grayson snapped that picture. I have a surprised or rather goofy look on my face. Hubby was cutting the ham and Caleb the roast but I guess the meatloaf was more interesting-lol All my guys love meatloaf ( not me)!
Toogie it looks like your family had a super day. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. We spent the day with our older daughter and her family. We enjoyed exellent food as ever and played scrabble before we left. The youngest grandson appears to have a talent for the game. Our other daughter is here for a few days with her family and we plan on having fun. The girls have bought their new skateboards so we will have fun round town with them tomorrow. Glad the quilt was a success after your mega efforts
I’m glad to hear you were with family for Christmas. My mom used to play scrabble but it seems back then I was too busy and never played, as much as we like games. Nora and Gus have new roller blades so like your girls I’m sure they’re wheeling around-lol success with the quilt and I hope never to do another one that size!
