I’m sosorry you managed to catch covid. You are correct. It is milder now than when it first was released. And getting out in the sunshine is the best thing we can do. We need to keep up our Vit D levels to avoid any viruses. Keep resting when you need to and soon you will be catching up on all those projects on your long list.
Today was productive for me. Checked a lot off my list, well 3 things anyway-lol
Oh Toogie, I am so glad you are a lot better! Bummer, I am so sorry got it, but then so relieved you now will have some immunities for a while. Hugs, dear friend, Jan
Thanks Jan, I managed some sewing today. I finished Sibby’s taggie ( in Projects), cooked lunch, put binding on two Quilt of Valor quilts and labels, but best of all WASHED MY HAIR-lol
Toogie, so sorry to hear this. We were told we were exposed to it while my husband was in the hospital in January. We self-isolated, and tested negative. However, our daughter did catch it, and it is the 3rd time that she has had it. Just take it easy, and don't rush things. She has been left with issues that will probably be with her the rest of her life. She is also a critical care respiratory therapist, and has been exposed multiple times at the hospital. And, as you said, one day at a time. Cyber hugs
I think Covid was so much worse when it first hit the states than it is around here now. I know it’s been bad on your daughter and my sisters, and they got it early. Recent cases have been like a bad sinus infection or no more than a bad cold. It was so good to feel the sun even though it’s 55 degrees today. I told my husband I was opening up all the windows in the house bc the wind is 17 mph today. I told him while the house aired out we could take a leisurely drive around the country. We were gone about an hour, but even though it was cold in the house when we returned, the sunshine, while riding, felt so good.
This is good news and glad you shared with us. One hopes for a good strong healing. Prayers for you and your hubby.
Thank you for the prayers for healing. We are having 70 something degrees a couple days, then in the 40’s, then back nearly 80, so no reason so many are sick with the flu or Covid. Today it’s cold again.🙄
Happy to hear you are both on the mend. Be sure to take it easy until you are completely over it. Hugs. Nan
I guess I’ll have to take it easy. Usually I can push on through even though I might be tired. This morning I couldn’t because I felt weak. Guess it might have hit me harder than I thought, although I’ve been doing the wash, changing the bed clothes, etc.
Well congratulations that you have avoided Covid for so long but sorry to hear it caught up with you. I am not sure what the procedures are with it in the UK now. Seems to affect us all differently. Glad to hear your both on the mend and I am sure you have been attempting to plan your next lot of sewing while you have been ill. Take care
It seems like you say, to affect us all differently and I think it sometimes isn’t as bad as when it first came out. My sisters got hit in the early onset and was rougher on them. Our meds ran out last night so we will see how today goes. I cut up a cabbage and put some ground meat to cook this morning and I told hubby , I didn’t know if it was my legs felt weak or I felt weak but I had to sit down. I sure don’t need another fall, especially while trying to get well.
Anyway, I am always planning a next project. I forgot to say I have 2 quilts to trim, bind and hem and also make pillowcases and labels for. When I came in from my last meeting it was raining so I left everything in the car. Hubby just brought them in a day or two ago, when I remembered about them. So that’s added to my to do list.
