I am sorry I missed it when you posted this fabulous quilt. You have done a wonderful job!
Love, Martine
Congrats on the wonderful job you do. Glad to see you back in the sewing room.. Hope you are doing better.. Suzanne
Thanks Suzanne, hope you are better too and your living situation. I start therapy tomorrow on my wrist but it’s my hip that’s been bothering me now… oh these golden years are for somebody old, not me!-lol
I quilt a little tiny bit and I am amazed at your beautifully lined up pieces. Just gorgeous. I would love to make this but I don't know that I have what it takes so I admire the work.
You can do it Sharon! You just take your time and make one 6.5 inch block at a time. I know you can do it!
Thanks!
Gorgeous quilt Toogie! I love this one...and congratulations and a big thank you for supporting our veterans and your 50th milestone quilt!
I love it too the first time I saw it and still do love it. Thank you very much
This fabulous quilt is almost as beautiful as your big giving heart. You wil get as many stars in your crown as are in all 50 of these quilts! Love you!
Ah my friend you are dripping with sweetness! Thanks for loving me!-❤️Love you too! Hope Mike is good.
Congratulations Toogie! This has to be the most beautiful quilt I have ever seen in my 77 years! Fifty fabulous quilts in five years is nothing short of amazing. I know that you don't do these for recognition; but I hope that you can feel the love and appreciation of every veteran who has received one. Thank you so much for all that you do for them, and for the inspiration that you have given my granddaughter and me.
Oh how sweet your comment is! I absolutely fell in love with this quilt the first time I saw a picture. I just knew one day I had to make it. Well like I said, I wanted something really beautiful to mark my 50th quilt for veterans, and so this fit my goal. I hope the veterans know & feel the love we have for them. I know I feel great just making and giving.I have also made about the same amount of personal and other charity quilts in those same five years-lol Thank you for looking and commenting. Is your granddaughter a member here or does she quilt?
She isn't a member...yet! She is learning to quilt and has even designed some small ones. Her latest project was a quilt for her grandfather. It is in the shop being quilted. Perhaps she will allow me to post a photo of it when it is finished.
Wow, Wow, Wow, this is absolutely the best design I've seen you make Toogie. It is stunning! I do pray that the person who receives this appreciates all the time, love and effort that has gone into making it.
I love that you've made s many of these wonderful quilts for your Veterans. You are such a generous and caring person. God bless you. Love Chris
It is so nice to see your lovely face and hear a word from you. It seems everyone is so busy nowadays that post are few and far between. Hope you and the family are well.
Thanks for your comments.
Absolutely Beautiful!!!! Such talent! Hugs!
I love the look too and Judy Martin sure is talented to design this complicated look. Thanks!
art work !! how long did it take you to finish ?
How long? Who keeps up ? I do know that 3 weeks ago the doctor said to move my hand and wrist as much as possible. I knew if possible I wanted to sew so in those three weeks, I first completed #49 I was half way through with and then made this one.
You are a truly amazing lady. God Bless you.
Not me, but thank you. I loved this pattern the moment I saw the quilt. On YouTube there is a quilt show of quilts in this book. I like the navy I used here better than the blue in their finished quilt. See if you can bring it up. Red, White and Blue quilt trunk show 2022 on YouTube.
Olly, you took the words right out of my mouth. Toogie you are truly amazing!
Toogie yet another amazing quilt. There is one lucky person who is going to be its new owner
Toogie, this is absolutely beautiful. You have done a marvelous job on it. Some lucky serviceman is going to be very lucky, and they should be very appreciative.
When I saw a picture of this quilt, I knew I wanted to make it. I don’t usually buy patterns, because I don’t like to repeat, but I thought it would be easier this time and was more than this pattern. I’m glad I got the book bc it has lots more patterns I can eventually make. Thanks for looking and commenting.
