Fun with words. Löpare pà Swedish, camino de mesa in Spanish and runner in English

Thought I had to show a runner in replay, but didn't find it among what I did, so maybe I never showed it. Bought the fabric in France pre-printed to make sashiko. Imagine my surprise when everything disappeared in the wash. But made one on his own. Call it my Greta Thunberg quilt. My name is Anita Margareta. and my grandmother's name was Greta. I think it's related. That I got these names was my mother's sister Nellie who thought so. I was the first grandchild. and think it obliges. Margareta certainly after Queen Margareta and the Kalmar Union, my parents were from Nybro, a stone's throw from Kalmar, also the abbreviation of my grandmother's name. At Kalmar castle there is a stuffed horse called Anita, the last hussar's horse. My father did his military service at F12 in Kalmar, told his mother that I will certainly stay at home, but not so he ended up in Pajala and spied in towers on the enemy during World War II. He was only 18 at the time
The quilt is sewn with circles in Japanese fabrics and the correct color is dark blue. Thought like waves on water or very long hair. The bubbles can also be thought of in several ways

Wonderful play on words and rich in the history of your name. Thank you for sharing. Your work is very pretty, sorry your pre-printed lines washed out too soon. :)

Your table runner is lovely, & very modern. You have a wonder way of finding the most unique fabric. You are lucky to have access to such a variety of shops.
