No and its due to the joys of staying at home. A friends daughter was and eventually returned to the UK in one piece
Woo-hoo...you made it home. This has been a mess. My daughter has been flying back and forth to California with her job, and the time difference between there and here is 3 hours. She had one day that she didn't land until nearly midnight, then had an hour drive to get to her home. Only to have to be at work the next day at 6:30. She was wiped out and had to fly back out there 3 days later. I am so glad that my husband doesn't travel like that anymore. With the mess of canceled flights and delays, he would never have made it home at times.
My heart goes out to you, your son and all who have been caught in this mess. Prayers up that all will soon be home safe and sound and the IT people will come up with a fix so it won't happen again.
The end of the story is we got home. Twelve hours late. But home.
