Do you seriously think that if various programs warn against using data on and from the site and prevent me from downloading anything that the site is safe?
Even my cell phone sounds an alarm when I go to cute . . . .
If you have concerns, please refrain. It is your option. I personally know that it's safe from this website as I just downloaded and then ran a scan. It came up all clear. You can test it for yourself anytime you like.
I was giving information to all that have asked. The errors can be found on every website that has you sign-in AND only has http: as part of their address bar. The websites are no more dangerous than they were 5 years ago.
Miss Veronika is redoing the websites to have the https: and its related increased security. Completely redoing a website takes time. She has several to do. You are welcome to wait as long as you feel the need.
The warning message I get is that no data on the site is protected and because of the open programming anyone can access all data if they want - without any security. There is no possibility to establish an encrypted connection and thus the possibility for attackers to steal passwords, e-mails or credit card data - please inform the website administrator about the problem. My PC protection prevents data (freebies) from being loaded, the problem has been going on for a few weeks, so it is new and not for years.
The website admin IS working, right now, on the security portion of the websites. She is fully aware of the errors.
You are in the same amount of danger as 5 years ago. Once she makes a change to the security portion, the old certificate expires. I don't know how to help you understand.
I'll give it one last shot.
No credit card data is stored on Cute.
No email or other personal info is stored on Cute.
They can steal your user name and your password, BUT they could only use them to download free designs and post in your stead.
PS Data means any and all...like coming here is creating/exchanging data. Posting creates & shares data. The new internet rules created the main issue. Miss Veronika is right now working on the fix.
