A friend asked me to make an embroidery design based on a painting used for an invitation. A Dutch artist made it especially for a birthday party invitation for a friend. I got his permission to use parts of the design - and I used two of the larger flowers. The booklet has blanc pages so the guests can write wishes, add drawings or whatever.

I think you are the artist. This is truly lovely.

Thank you. It stitched out well. Largests problem was getting the needle threaded with these old eyes (no needle threader on my machine). I never understood why my mum used to ask me to do that for her - now I know :)
