Longtime followers of Cute Embroidery will remember Sue Dewsbury. Sue created some amazing designs and shared many of them with us here. Sue then went on to creating Engineered in Stitches on Facebook which took her life over. In exchange for a set donation for each design members of EIS can buy the designs and the money goes towards St Barnabas Hospice near her. This hospice has given end of life care to some of Sue's friends including Scottie who was a member here.

Donations in September took the amount raised for the Hospice to over £25,000. This is equivalent to 32800 US dollars, almost 48000 Au dollars or 29700 Euro.
So if you are not already a member of EIS on Facebook go and join and have a look at the unique designs that Sue has come up with for fundraising

That amount is amazing and such a good cause, too. I remember Sue’s friend. He liked to joke a lot, like me.

Dennis? He was a fellow Cutie who lived far away from Sue. Her friend who lived near her was Scottie who I met once at a big sewing event at a place called the NEC on the edge of Birmingham. UK distances are nothing like yours in the States but our roads means it takes longer to travel. Yes Sue is amazing and what a super way of sharing her talents
