This design is by Too Cute Embroidery - fabric postcards 2 TD 4U081 -through Oregon Patchworks. The design proper has an embroidered postcard back but I have used a regular (card) postcard. The bow is an added extra (not embroidery).

Purr-fect indeed. I wonder if anyone ever stitches the back as well, I'd use card, like you did. *4U.

I'll let you into a secret Mops - I did embroider the 'postcard' back but the thread broke so many times & I got more & more frustrated. I used 4 needles & cleaned out under bobbin to no avail. It ended up in the dustbin. I don't know what went wrong because the cat was no trouble at all.

I'm wondering what you stitch the cat on...fabric, staqbilizer or card stock???

The cat is stitched on fine cotton fabric using tear away stabiliser. Altho' I haven't shown it in this picture, it is made up into a postcard type Birthday Card. Hope this is helpful Blhamblen.
