resolve my ongoing problems. It all started with a neglected tooth cavity that led to a jaw infection requiring huge doses of antibiotics and dental treatment over the last 20 months now. Some days i just don't cope too well with the pain. Anyway, i've decided to give up trying to save the problem teeth and have them removed in an effort to realign my jaw and (hopefully) relieve all my problems. I know there are millions of people who put up with tinnitus (ringing in the ears) so if you're one of them I truly empathise as this is without doubt one of the most distracting side effects.

Please friends, don't ignore or neglect your teeth, the results can be debilitating (and costly). hugs n roses, M

Oh That is so terrible! Your poor Aunt! My Sister is on Fosamax too & has an awful time now with dental work, her fillings keep falling out & her teeth are just breaking off in pieces. The dentist said she can't have extractions now because of Fosamax, but it's the Fosamax causing the problem, talk about a Vicious circle. I do hope your Aunt gets through this, I truly empathise with her suffering. Thanks for your kind words, hugs n roses, M

Thank you all so much my dear friends, for your support and well wishes. I have three weeks more to wait then my (partial) top and bottom dentures will be ready and i can have the remaining (6) problem teeth removed and start the healing process.

Who would've ever thought just ONE tooth with a bad cavity could cause such horrendous problems/??!!!
I can't even take painkillers as they agravate the tinnitus and make it so much worse.

Please don't ignore your teeth, it isn't worth the pain and misery the neglect can cause.

hugs n roses to you all my very dear friends and thank you all for being there. Meganne

Meganne: I know what the headaches feel like. I had severe ones for weeks. Went to a message therepasits, within an hour and half it was pretty much gone. One way to help with those is to breathe a better way. She told me that when things aren't going right or when I get tense I hold my breath. So try taking bigger breathes and on a continous steady way to help with the headaches..It helped me tremendously. I pray God will help relieve yours also.....deanna

Oh Meg... you're covered with good thoughts and prayers friend. Anything having to deal with teeth makes me cringe! I HATE going to the dentist, but I do go every 6 months... my husband on the other hand... well....

Hope you're doing well soon. xoxo

Good luck, Meg. So sorry you're having problems, my late girlfriend had tinnitus, she found ginko biloba helped a lot. Maybe with all the dental/jaw problems resolved, that will resolve itself too, I sure hope so. Being on a limited income, I know how hard it is to take care of teeth. Sure with we all had some insurance for prevention of problems, like teeth & eyes. This world is in sad shape, isn't it? Hope it clears up soon for you, my friend. Big cyber-hugs, Marji

Meg
Sorry to hear you are under the weather. My DH had all his teeth pulled one afternoon..they put in temps that same day. Talk about a lot of pain, but within 6 months ALL of his stomach and head problems cleared. Now I just have to figure out how to get him to STOP eating! Feel better soon! :)

Oh dear, so sorry to hear that. Root canals and crowns are so miserable and expensive (boy, do I know about that!) but are so much better than the effects of postponing the problem too long. I can only wish you well and hope that your problems get straightened out soon, and send you sympathy for what you have been going through.

Oh Meganne, I am sorry you are suffering with your teeth. Six months ago I broke a tooth next to front. I knew it was going to be crown which currently runs $970, but to my shock my dentist said I should go ahead and crown the other front teeth,5 in total, that had not already been crowned. If my sweetie had not helped, I would have been in trouble. I am retired and live on limited income. I am not entirely pleased with the results but that is another story. Best wishes to you. Get well soon.

Oh Meg, I am so sorry to hear about your pain and suffering, but I hope all will be fine real soon!!! I too have neglected my teeth for many years out of fear and am also undergoing lots of renewal of cavities and root canal and crown work - not as bad as you, but I can certainly sympathize. I have finally overcome the fear (for the most part-LOL) and still need lots more work done, but of course insurance only pays so much. lots of hugs & *4u
