Dogs are awesome, and so is this story! I just loved it. Thank you so much for sharing it. *4U :)
If anyone wants him, he's free for the taking plus 6 months free Frontline Plus. He's 6 yrs old & his name is Waggs. We live in Maine.
Oh how appropriate. We just came back from the vet where they had to put down my daughters little dog. How can a bundle of fur worm it's way into a persons heart so quickly?. She only had him for 3 months.
Thank you so much Jerrilyn. Love this one. Flower and XoXo
That's good that he understands. I am trying to find a home for my dog due to me possibly having to relocate for a 4yr apprenticeship position. In this picture, i had him trimmed due to the hot weather. But he is I think a cross between a Black Lab, Springer Spaniel, Border Collie, & maybe Australian Shepard.
I've had a couple of dogs i had to have put down.I never stayed with them while the vet put them down. But when i put my westy down I stayed with her and talked to her until she went to sleep.
Such a sweet thought from a child . Gives us all something to think about. ( Especially if you have ever lost a pet. )
Yes, my vet layed his head on our Irish setter with DH and I and cried right along. I will always be grateful to him for caring so much.
Only a child could respond in such a beautiful way...
Out of the mouths of babes. :-) I have an old dog right now that is on his last legs. It's so hard to know when it is time to put him to rest. He is still a loving comfort.... *4U
You will know when he suffers more than he can feel joy, until then love him up!
