You have done a real good job on this quilt Anna & for a first . . well . . it's super. Look forward to viewing the 'big one' soon :-)
very good job. My first quilt was a queen and came out pretty good. Everyone said it was great. I quilted it on the sewing machine. I had never quilted before. My friend said you can do it. I did do a samll pillow to see if I could cut straight. If I can find a picture I will post it. I gave it to my daughter. The name of it was Card Trick and was fun to make. Flower for yours it is lovely and like the way you put it together.

What a lovely quilt, like the colours and the designs. Congratulations with this result. Up to the big one now, I look forwaqrd to it. You can do it after this result.
Anna, this is lovely - great job and I am happy to hear that you made it for yourself! *4U
anna, I love it, love it, love it. I love these children designs. Looks like you have done a wonderful job. Look forward to seeing the next one.
I really like the bluework. The bows and buttons are a nice touch. Well done. *4U
Great job, I don't quilt but I would love to learn. What motivated you to take the leap.?
It is lovely Anna. I like the way you matched the simplicity of the quilt pattern with the naivity of the embroidery designs. I am about to start quilting my first machine quilted quilt too, so I will be watching for jrob's post with hints. I started one 21 years ago but got stuck at the quilting stage (like you I started with a queen size, a big mistake) so I might even finish that one if the smaller one works out.
Well done on your first quilt the two tones are great and I'm sure you've learned lots, your next one will be a breeze! Look forward to seeing it. jo
Wow! Super job on first try....looks fantastic to me. I'm going to see if I can find a link to the method I use to machine quilt. It works quite nicely and is called "Fluff and Stuff". I'll post in community if I can find it....it's been a few years.;)
This is such a cute quilt. You do have the talent. *4U
Wow! It looks great. I love the colors that you used and the designs are lovely. ****
Großartig! Wie groß ist das Quilt? Etwa 1M x 1M? Liebe Grüße Hilde
This is a stunning quilt, Anna. Your colours are very good and you have finished it off so nicely with the ribbons and buttons. Well done. *4U
Congratulations on a beautiful quilt. Finishing things was one reason I started doing baby quilts. Smaller, and easier to machine quilt. *4all
thanks jo, I really had to start with a small one...and to be honest it did give me some probs to quilt (cos I didnt have the right needle and right stitch lol) *
What a beautiful quilt...you did a marvelous job...can't wait to see the larger one...
thank you, the big one will have to wait till september I'm afraid cos I have a course next month and will then have guests but I want to have it finished for autumn cos it has autumn as a theme. *
Sunbonnets caught my eye, I just love them. I can't tell but is this bluework stitching. And would to know where you got the patterns. Great Job you did.
thanks Ann. yes its all bluework, well designs were originally redwork but I prefer blue. they are two sets of designs I had bought from secretsofembroidery.com I think they were called romantic sunbonnets or sunbonnets in love. *
It is really nice. You have to be proud of yourself.Love your color and your alternation of a bow and buttons.Would like to see a square from close .Congratulation *4U
thanks roxsy, I am happy about how it turned out. will do my best to take a close up of a square and post later. *reciprocated
